RocketCard Defence

Mine. Defend. Regret.

A roguelike deckbuilder meets tower defence… in a galaxy ruled by corporate greed.

You're a cloned corporate asset, proudly owned by VEXcorp™, the galaxy’s very last mega-corporation. Your job? Mine interdimensional crystal on collapsing alien worlds, deliver shady cargo to even shadier places, and most importantly, try not to ask questions. Your debt is massive, your contract is permanent, and your safety is not a priority.

In RocketCard Defence, you build a deck of powerful cards to construct defences, deploy mining equipment, and survive escalating waves of crystalline creatures while harvesting them for resources. The more you extract, the more unstable each world becomes, and the clearer it is that VEXcorp is only here for profits. But hey, there are always more planets.

Fight for survival. Upgrade your mining rig. Choose who (or what) to believe. Just don’t fall behind on your payments.

Key Features

Deckbuilding Meets Tower Defence
Strategic runs built from fast, punchy deck combos. Deploy turrets, sabotage enemies, and trigger devastating combos that make strip mining entire planets a breeze.

Narrative Choices with Real Consequences

Make tough calls. Uncover secrets (or bury them). Align with

factions that may save or sacrifice you.

Meta Progression That Actually Matters

Unlock rewards that give you new cards, upgrades, memories, and rig customisations, and maybe a slightly less miserable clone next time.

Campy Sci-Fi Meets Corporate Horror

A retro-futurist galaxy full of space malls, neon temples, and corporate mandated VEXcorp brainwashing sessions… I mean employee wellness retreats.

Space Dragon Games

We're a four-person indie studio based in Australia, building the weird and wonderful games we've always wanted to play.

The name Space Dragon comes from our first-year university teacher's favourite example of scope creep: “But what if we added space dragons and starships?” It stuck with us, part joke, part cautionary tale. It just felt like the right name for a small studio balancing big ideas with tight execution.

Space Dragon was formed in 2024, but we’ve been working together on and off for over 15 years. Our most recent projects are Creature Games’ Starship Home, a DICE award winning sci-fi MR title about caring for alien plants and saving the galaxy, and Anecdote Games’ Outpost, an upcoming first person sci-fi horror title about identity and self destruction.
